Votorantim Cimentos will play a significant part in the building of the new Brazil as a producer of cement, aggregates and ready-mix concrete. The company continues to expand its cement capacity at home and abroad, while it is strongly driven and directed by its sustainability goals and desire to improve its energy efficiency and carbon management.

Votorantim Cimentos, which has been carrying out operations in the business of basic building materials (cement, concrete, aggregates and dry mortar) since 1936, is among the eight largest global companies in its sector. In Brazil, it has a 40 per cent cement market share and owns approximately 60 cement, aggregate and mortar production units, as well as 70 distribution centres and 100 ready-mix plants.
