Health & Safety (H&S) is a core value for the Lafarge Group which it integrates into all aspects of its businesses and is framed by a Health & Safety Management System. Particular elements of importance within this framework are: policy and rules, leadership and accountability, consultation and empowerment.

H&S responsibilities extend beyond the production site to the complete supply chain, customer sites and third parties. Lafarge’s ultimate H&S goal is sustainable ‘zero harm’ for its employees and contractors by managing exposure to potential injury within an acceptable risk level.
