Siwertell shiploaders, unloaders and terminal deliveries from Cargotec are tailor-made to provide the best possible solution for each individual operation.

“There can be no one-size-fits-all in this business,” says Bengt Svensson, senior contract manager for Siwertell at Cargotec. “No two ports are alike, the topography is different and space can be limited. The nature of the trade, capacity requirements, local regulations and the range of cargoes to be handled must be factored in, along with budgetary considerations.

“This is our market and we relish the challenge of designing products to meet our customers’ specific needs. We normally start with a blank canvas and design complete systems from the ground up.”
