Cemtech and CO2
Dr Clark particularly enjoyed the Cemtech Asia conference in Kuala Lumpur in June and also the three-day technical training workshop that immediately followed the main event. However, preparations for the workshop and readings on other industries call into question where things are leading with regard to CO2 emissions.
Sustainability and CO2 emissions were some of the key issues discussed during the Cemtech Asia 2014 conference.

Cemtech Asia 2014 provided interesting insights into the global and regional cement markets including masses of market data. From a technical perspective the moderator found papers by Christian Pfeiffer on grinding systems and pyroprocess case studies by Cinar to be particularly interesting.
