Much has changed in cement handling in the last 40 years and although cement consumption is unlikely to return to the peaks seen in the early 21st century, growth in the cement handling market is predicted in both developed and emerging markets.
The greatest changes have been the global shift towards environmental protection and the focus on greater capacity and efficiency, predominantly in response to rising fuel costs. These shifts, backed by increasingly stricter national and international environmental regulations, drive the adoption of technology that delivers on every level.
