Cemtech Middle East: Dubai 13-16th February 2010

Cemtech Conferences and Exhibitions has successfully concluded its fifth annual Middle East event during 13-16 February 2010. Returning to the luxury of the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Dubai, UAE the meeting attracted over 250 delegates from over 40 countries all keen to discuss topics under the theme of Middle East market challenges and technology advances.

Arthur Harrisson, Consultant (UK) talks about optimising cement properties for export.
Soumen Karkun from Holtec Consulting (India) discusses; Estimating the implications of uncertainties during project gestation. Emir Adigüzel, HC Trading (Turkey) talks about Global cement trades & shipping – implications for Middle East markets.
Speakers answer questions from delegates during the shipping and trading session. Joel Grau, Clarksons (UAE) presenting; The dry bulk freight market forecasts: volatility and uncertainty? Dr Michael Clark discusses Cementitious alternatives: purchase, processing and marketing the latest cements. Luis Treviño, Cemex (Mexico) gives an insightful presentation on the successful completion of the 250MW Eurus wind farm in Mexico.
