HeidelbergCement's Polish Gorazdze subsidiary's deputy managing director, W Adamczyk, stated towards the end of December that his company will sell in excess of 4.3Mt of cement in 2011. Total Polish cement production, according to Adamczyk, is now expected to have reached some 18.25Mt. This compared with a post-1990 record of 16.95Mt, set in 2008.
