Votorantim

Votorantim is moving into Uruguay on the back of a partnership with the government-owned ANCAP. The deal foresees the construction of a 0.75Mta cement works 286 miles from Montevideo, in Treinta y Tres. The new works is expected to be completed in 2014 and to export some of its production to Brazil, principally to Rio Grande do Sul.
