Votorantim Cementos is beginning to commission the new Vidal Ramos and Florianopolis cement plants in the state of Santa Catarina, which will have a combined capacity of 1.9Mta and raise Votorantim's capacity in Santa Catarina to 2.4Mt, as there is already a smaller works at Itajai.
