Anhui Conch Cement Co - September 2013
Construction of Anhui Conch Cement’s new plant in South Kalimantan, Indonesia, has entered its second phase with production due to begin in 1Q14. The project, which is located in Saradang, Tanjung Tabalong, includes a 2.5Mta cement grinding plant, 2x18MW power plant and seaport. The new US$400m plant’s output is destined for domestic use with Indonesia’s cement consumption expected to rise by more than 10 per cent YoY to 62Mt by the end of 2013.
