PT Semen Indonesia - January 2014
January 2014 marks the first year anniversary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, renamed from PT Semen Gresik (Persero) Tbk. In 2013, Semen Indonesia’s sales volume increased 27 per cent to 27.8Mt, compared to 2012. Net income was up 26 per cent, operating profit rose by 23 per cent and EBITDA grew by 25 per cent. Unaudited reports put net profit for the year up 14 per cent to US$410m with revenue growth of 12 per cent to US$1.8bn. According to Reuters, the company expects to see revenue growth of 13 per cent in 2014 with sales expected to reach 31Mt, up 11 per cent on 2013.
