Cement milling Question 22

Is there any literature about the influence of triethanolamine addition in the cement milling process, related with the final characteristics of cement? Are there a optimum rate of triethanolamine addition in the cement milling process? Can I cause some damage in the final cement characteristics if we use a triethanolamine superdosage?

Re: Cement milling

There are many literature references to the effects of grinding aids and cement conditioners. The optimum rate of addition needs to be determined during a series of trials on the mill. The trials need to be designed to ensure there is no detrimental effects on the final cement characteristics.
