cut size in tromp curve
while grinding for a OPC of very high fineness we observed that the tromp curve shows the following :
1. Bypass is abnormally high
2. There exist two cut sizes in the tromp curve.
we are in the process of optimising the circuit for this operation, which we take up occasionally for meeting temporary needs of the market.
Kindly advise on the two sizes falling as d50 sizes

Re: cut size in tromp curve
The cut size should be taken from the main slope of the curve, not the “fish-hook”. The high bypass suggests that the separator is overloaded when grinding this cement. What is the circulating load when grinding that cement?
