Re: Clinker High Liter Weight and High Free Lime

Dear electron1539,

I think you could not be able to understand  the word "higher fineness".Higher fineness means lower residue.Fineness is to be maintained in raw meal depends on minerological analysis. For hard burning mix rsidue on +90 mic will be kept 10-15%,for medium burning mix,+90 mic=15-20% and for soft burning mix residue is kept on +90mic will be 20-25%.Residue of kiln feed is to be maintained depends on limestone deposit specific and will vary from plant to plant.I do hope I have answered your query

Regards,

R.M.Sahu

Re: Clinker High Liter Weight and High Free Lime

Dear Mr. Raj

Kindly , to privent miss understanding ,

you want to say that higher finess material  ( lower sieve residue ) is harder to burn than the lower finess one ( higher sieve residue ).......is that true

if so , i know that the role of thumb said that the higher finess ( lower sieve ) will be more easy to burn than lower finess one

forgive my orgue  but i am just want to know if my information right or wrong .

I want to convey that criteria for deciding the residue on +212micron and on +90micron are based on whether the material is hard to burn or easy to burn? Thumb rule is that hard burn mix should be ground more finer or lower residue than easy to burn mix.I do hope I have clearified my point of view to you. Regards, R.M.Sahu, India
