what is the Max. Nitrogen gas pressure in accumulator for vertical roller mill - hydraulic cylinder
Hi,
I would like to know " what is the max. nitrogen gas pressure in Hydraulic Accumulator for Vertical roller mill - hydraulic cylinder.
Max. Grinding pressure( Hydraulic): 190 bar , as standard formula that nitrogen gas pressure = 0.75 times of Hydraulic pressure , i.e means nitrogen ras pressure is equal to 140 bar, is it advisable to use this range of pressure in VRM's...?
kindly clarify...
regards,
dhanu

Re: what is the Max. Nitrogen gas pressure in accumulator for vertical roller mill - hydraulic cylinder
Dear dhanu.
Max N2 press in accumulators is derived according to manufacturer's allowance.
Accrding to Gebr. Pfeiffer, we have formula as follows
Max N2 P = 0.66 Grind P
Min N2 P= 0.33 Grind P
Opt N2 P = 0.50 Grind P
So i m sure about this but if your mill is other than Gebr. Pfeiffer then u must first contact manuacturer before making any change. These limits can also be seen in manuals supplied by respective company. Make sure not to exceed design limits.
Thanx. Have a nice day

@ENGRs sir if we exceed or keep low this nitrogen pressure in accumulator then wat will hapend. we have loesche mill capacity 490t/h and our nitrogen pressure is about 40bar normally we operate mill with grinding pressure upto 96bar
