increasing reactivity of clinker

What do you think can be changed in operation of wet kiln in order to increase reactivity of the clinker?

Thank you in advance for your thoughts and recommendations.

Re: increasing reactivity of clinker

You could add fluoride to the kiln feed slurry as a mineraliser.

Re: increasing reactivity of clinker

A few years ago I tried the use of ground natural CaF2 direct into the flame on a wet kiln with some success. We achieved a significant reduction in heat input and NOx emissions. We also tried F rich liquid waste as a mineraliser with no success at all ! The project was not pursued as the economics did not add up at the time and alternative (cheaper)means of NOx reduction were found.
