Re: specific heat

guddu,

You will find an example there:  http://www.geocities.com/l.albatros/temp/HNm3.xls

Re: specific heat

Greeting sir

Point taken and again thanks

We its indeed my pleasure to get your favour in proactive move.

I got the same and started using the same through the available data from simulation.

I have one doubt you have referred the calc =

CpNm3_FlueGas(B12, C12, D12, E12, F12+273.15,H12+273.15)

or H1-H2/T1-T2. You rightly said we are looking for specific heat which is diff between two point.

But as enlightened in formula , whether its been considered the volume of gases or their specific heat.

Apparantly for a given gas flow and temp what is basic formula to calculate the enthalpy or specific heat

thanks

Re: specific heat

The spreasheet calculates enthalpy or specific heat for 1 Nm³, which is 1m³ ins standard conditions (25°C, 1atm). Depending on the information you have, you will have to perform some unit conversions. It is also very easy to modify the program for other units, using mainly the molecular masses.

Re: specific heat

Thanks sir

 My quiry is

1) what basic formula you have used to calculate the enthalpy of gas

2) Whether values of CO N O2 been considered is sp heat or its volume
