Clinker Sintering
Dears,
What have been effect on the sintering of clinker phase, if there would not have been
liquid phase? What would have the kiln temperature to reach that sintering stage?

Re: Clinker Sintering
Fluxes are of great importance in an industrial cement kiln to keep down the expenses of clinker formation in terms of fuel and refractory costs. The solid-solid reaction is very slow process and solid-liquid reaction kinetics are much faster.Presence of 26-30% liquid content will accelerate the reaction rate between C2S and free lime in burning zone.

Re: Clinker Sintering
Dear Mr. Raju,
That is OK. But i want to know more about the nodulization of the clinker. Would there any be nodulization of the clinker in absence of flux? Is there will not be sintering of the powders of rawmix or we may C2S and C3S? If that is going to happen then how and at which temperature. This question arise in my mind just to measure the importance of the fluxes in the clinker.
Kind Regards,
