Al2O3 v/s Fe2O3

Dear All,

What is beneficial for improved clinker quality like easy burning and/or easy grinding?

This is in reference of our proposal for replacement of iron ore with bauxite to reduce

bag house return?

Hi,

For easy burning & easy grinding, increase liquid content in your clinker composition.

but be careful about kiln inlet coating, ring formation, ball formation.

Re: Al2O3 v/s Fe2O3

Dear Vikpro,

We can increase liquid content by increasing either Al2O3 or Fe2O3 or both.

I want to know for which we go preferably(Al2O3 or Fe2O3). How much we can sacrifice

one to another?
