As per Bogue derived formula with increase in iron content in raw meal C4AF can be increased.Bogue derived formula is as given under,

C4AF = 3.043 Fe2O3

 I have been known that formula as per Bogue but i want to known how can i increase the C4AF content in burning process.

If anyone have experiences relate this topic, please sharing to me.

HongMinh,

I don't know of any change you can make to the burning process that will increase C4AF, without an increase in iron content of the rawmix. You could use a coal with a high content of Fe2O3 in the ash, but this is the same as increasing the Fe2O3 content in the rawmeal.

C4AF and C3A both vary with the alumina ratio (AM). Increasing the AM favours more C3A while reducing the AM favours more C4AF, at the expense of C3A.
