However,as regards "clinker litreweight,clinker size & freelime corelationship" instead of doing trial and error, scientific and logical methodology is available in Vol.4 Sixth NCCBM International Seminar 24-27 Nov.1998 New Delhi which will help you to arrive at suitable clinker size fraction for litre weight determination;

The developed methodology may apper to be obsolute in modern times, but it is the most economical way of monitoring Pyroprocessing Operation when modern and costly Instrument/Equipment are available in the market for free lime determination.
