Kiln rotation
dear experts,
is is advisable to run hot kiln on main drive with out feed for almost hours.What are possible damages?

It is not recommended to keep the kiln running for more than 1-2 hours, using main drive.
Related to main reason for stoppage and for how long time you will keep the kiln without feed you will decide ow long time you keep main drive in operation.
Is not dangerous for kiln or main drive,or other equipment if you keep main drive in operation. Dangerous is for coating or bricks falling down, or collapse.

dear fluence sysbacip,
like elmina said, there is no risk for the equipment or the kiln if you run the main drive without feed material. if you want to emty the kiln as soon as possible, then yes you should run with main drive, othervise it will demage the coting and bricks.
