Specific Heat for Specific Componen
I'm a newbie in cement industry and technology. I have a problem about heat balance and mass balance in coal mill using ball mill with closed circuit system. Its because i dont know the specific heat of return dust from Suspension Preheater and specific heat of coal depend on Temperature & Pressure.
Please help me to resolve that problem.
I'm waiting your kindly information in email.

Re: Specific Heat for Specific Componen
I usually recommend the nist database:
The funny thing is that you won't find the thermo data for CaCO3 there, while this is the main data you need.
Another interresting data source is this:
by selecting Ca, O and C, and by specifying a little more what your need is, you will land to a page where a table for specific heat, enthaply, entropy and free energy for CaCO3(cr) will be available. The coefficients used in the calculation formula is also provided, but you will have to find their defintion elsewhere.
There are many other places on the web where you can find such data.
You will even be surprised how much can be found on all the clinker minerals as well as the hydrated cement minerals. This will make an expert from you in a few hours.
