surging problem

dear sir,

i am working for the cement industry for the last one year we are facing the problem of surging can any one explain me to rectify this problem

Dear,

pl check the pressure drop across the cyclone.In case of low efficiency it is 5-7 mbar and in the other case of 8-12 mbar.also check the flap damper is operating and if surge happpens frequently,it means that the dispersion plate is malfunctioning.
