whiteness of white cement

Can anybody tell me in detail what are the factors on which whiteness of clinker depends & how?

What are the ways to control the same in kiln operation along with reduced freelime content in clinker?

Also why the whiteness of cement is higher than clinker?

Telling the truth. It is well known. White cement clinker must not contain colouring oxides MnO, Fe2O3. Alit sintering temperature without Fe2O3 are very high and it is difficult to get without a free lime. I got the white cement clinker with low temperatures, but  I d't say anything.  This is the big secret.

Dobry den, Silastman!

What kind of flux did you use? Possibly CaF2? CaSO4? Both?

Regards,

Ted.
