bricks fall down

Dear all

Can anyone give the explanation for why pre calciner bricks fall down when kiln stopped?

Aware of the following:

kiln stopped but main oil firing in operation mode and raw mill in operation mode

to take hot gases from preheater about 3 hours and kiln was rotated with barring

after inspected fount that bricks inside kiln at kiln inlet coming from pre calciner

In the opinion of the profile there were thermal shock happend when hot gases taken from the preheater and Proof of this is the presence of bricks near to kiln inlet and that mean bricks fall down during coolin down because if kiln was rotated with main drive bricks shall be found inside the cooler .

Is this true?
