How to increase clinker litre weight

Dear all

Our kiln gives 1.8 to 2% freelime in  clinker with liter weight 1100-1150 g/l.

Now even if the nodulization is good at site , we are not able to increase litre weight or reduce the free lime. Clinker is not dusty. We use 80% Petcoke & 20 % South African coal as mix with residue 3-4% on 90 mic.

Raw mix LSF is 94.5 to 95.2 with SM 2.26-2.28.

Raw Meal fineness 17% on 90 mic.

One way is toreduce the SM further but it will increse the Liquid & gives hard grindiability of clinker.

Please suggest.

re How to increase clinker litre weight

Well burner is in the center of the kiln with 600 mm inside the kiln tip.Burner inserted to reduce the phenomenon of snowman. But burner alignment problem may give rise to CO formation etc. which is not the case.

My flame momentum is around 1750-1850%m/s. I do not have further margin in primary air blower to increase it.

can I go upto 2500 %m/s if blower rpm is increased? A negative effect is the lining damage , what else?

At present the PA pipeline velocity is 30m/s , can i go upto 40m/s in the same duct by increasing the volume flow ?

Is there any chance of blower damage/pipeline damage etc.

Please suggest.
