Six potential buyers show interest in US FCC cement unit
Six potential buyers have shown interest in Giant, the US cement subsidiary of Spanish builder FCC, according to FCC Chairman Baldomero Falcones. At present, the interested parties are studying the feasibility of the deal.
He expects the sale to be completed at early next year.
FCC wants to be present in a few countries, but counts on strong positions, he added. The company considers Panama, Mexico, the Middle East and Colombia "strategic markets".
