Vietnam likely to produce 34.7Mt of cement in Jan-Jul

Cement producers in Vietnam are estimated to have made 34.7Mt of cement in the first seven months of this year.

The figure represents a YoY rise of 12.3%, the government’s General Statistics Office said in its monthly report released Jul 23.

In July, the country’s cement output is estimated to stand at 5.6Mt, up 19.1% YoY.

The Ministry of Construction forecast Vietnam’s cement consumption is forecast to stand between 54.5Mt and 56Mt this year, up 9%-10% from a year earlier.
