Egypt: Sinai Cement’s production cost rises by 25%

Mr Mostafa Yousef, CFO of Sinai Cement, announced that the production cost of cement increased 25% after the natural gas line feeding the company exploded this week. He added that Sinai Cement had to use the more expensive fuel oil (mazout) to maintain production. According to the head of Be’r Al Abd City, one week is needed to repair the line.
