Swiss 2Q11 cement sales slip 1.4%
Cement deliveries in Switzerland fell by 1.4% to 2.324Mt in the second quarter of 2011, according to Cemsuisse, the Swiss cement manufacturers’ association. However, despite the slip in sales over the quarter, 1H11 sales remain higher than the previous year, noting an increase of 7.4%. Last year, deliveries of cement totalled 4.553Mt, an increase of 5.1% on the previous year. Published under Cement News
