FAS considers application of EBRD for acquisition of share in Lafarge Vostok
The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) considered an application of the EBRD for the acquisition of rights to exercise a dominant influence of the entrepreneurial activity of OJSC LafargeCement acquiring 6% of voting shares of Lafarge Vostok, and decided that this transaction does not fall within the Competition Law and does not require the antimonopoly body’s prior approval.
