Dyckerhoff (Ukraine), will invest EUR3m in installing a new separator for the two cement mills at Volyn Cement.


The company said it was the biggest investment for 2011 and work began earlier this year and will be completed in April 2012, said director genera of Dyckerhoff Ukraine, Paolo Selano.

In addition, the company expects to invest EUR2m in renovating its kiln line No 2 at Yugcement. This project is scheduled for completion by the end of the year, Mr Zelano said.

He also noted that in 2011, Dyckerhoff plans to increase cement production by 24 per cent compared to last year, to reach 1.45Mt. Its Volyn Cement plant will raise output from 0.8Mt in 2010 to 1Mt this year, and Yugcement from 0.65Mt to 0.8Mt.
