Revati Cement Pvt. Ltd. headquartered in Indore has opted to equip its new works, which will be set up in Taluga Raghuraj, Sadna District of Madhya Pradesh state, with grinding plants from Gebr. Pfeiffer, Germany.

The kiln of the works with a capacity of 2.5Mta will be fed with 560tph of raw meal ground to a fineness of 12% R90µm. The kiln will be fired with pulverised coal which will also have a fineness of 12% R90µm.

This deal will see Gebr Pfeiffer supply an MPS 5600 B roller mill with an installed drive power of 5600kW. Four mills of this type are already in operation in India and a fifth one is in the order processing stage.

An MPS 3070 BK will be supplied for grinding coal or petroleum coke. This mill type has already been sold nine times to the Indian cement industry and four times to the Indian steel industry.
 
The core components of the mill will be supplied from Europe by Gebr. Pfeiffer SE whereas Gebr. Pfeiffer (India) Pvt Ltd, a 100 % subsidiary of Gebr. Pfeiffer SE, will be responsible for the manufacture of the foundation and housing parts as well as the high efficiency classifier of the third generation. Moreover, the Indian subsidiary located in Noida will provide engineering services for the grinding plants and a major part of the process components and handling equipment.
