Iran’s monthly cement output hits 5.6Mt
Iran’s cement output amounted to some 5.6Mt in the first month of the current calendar year (ended April 20), up 17.6 per cent compared to the same period last year, IRNA reported. Nearly 5.6Mt of clinker was also produced, up 18 per cent more than last year’s figure.
Some 126,191t of clinker and 547,163t of cement were also exported during the same period, an increase of 3.5 per cent YoY.
