Cementir plans to invest EUR60m in Turkey in three years

Italian cement maker Cementir Holding plans to invest about EUR 60m in waste management in Turkey in the next three years, chairman Francesco Caltagirone Jr said at the shareholders meeting.

The company has ongoing waste management projects in Turkey and expects profits from the country to reach about EUR16m per year in the next three years.

Cementir’s shareholders approved the payment of a dividend of EUR 0.06 per share on 2010. The company will start the distribution of the payment on May 26 with ex-dividend date on May 23, 2011.
The shareholders also approved the full-year 2010 results. Cementir booked a EUR 9.3 million in net profit and EUR842.3m in revenues.
