Indian cement sales growth falls to long-term low
Cement production in India reached 16.79Mt in March, up 5.1% YoY. Cement despatches reached 16.71Mt in March, up 4.4% YoY.
Accumulated production for the year April 2010 to March 2011 reached 168.26Mt, compared to 160,75Mt for the same period a year earlier. Accumulated despatches for the same period reached 167.15Mt, up by 4.6% from 159.84Mt recorded over the same period a year earlier. Published under Cement News
