Siberian Cement to acquire 51% in Angarskcement, Russia

Kemerovo region’s Siberian Cement intends to purchase 51% shares in Irkutsk region-based Angarskcement for $62m from RATM holding, Kommersant reports.

The buyer is reportedly to get RATM’s shares in Angarskcement plant, Pereval mine and Bystrinsky deposit.

As a result of the deal, the Siberian Cement is to grow its share in Angarskcement to 100%, the newspaper said. The deal is scheduled to be closed in May-June 2011.
