Lafarge extends transport contract with Europorte
21 December 2010

Lafarge has renewed for three years its transport contract with Europorte, a unit of Channel Tunnel operator Eurotunnel.

Under the current agreement, signed three years ago, Europorte organises four transfers weekly between Dunkirk and Le Havre and provides unloading of trains at Lafarge’s cement plant located in Le Havre.

Europorte carries slag, a raw material for producing cement, between the site of French company Moulins du Littoral in Dunkirk and the Le Havre site of Lafarge.
