Sinoma starts cement project in Gansu, China

China National Materials Group Corp or Sinoma on November 9 put a cement plant into operation in Gansu Province with an output capacity of 4500tpd, sources reported. The plant, which cost CNY600m, is operated and managed by one of Sinoma’s subsidiaries Ningxia Saima Industry Co Ltd, whose annual output capacity of cement exceeding 7Mt. On October 25, a 200Mt cement production line also owned by Sinoma also started operation in Yongdeng County, Gansu Province. The two cement projects will strengthen Sinoma’s competitive ability in Northwest China, said the company. In 2008, Sinoma signed a cooperative agreement with the Gansu Provincial Government to invest more than RMB 5 billion in total in the province by 2013. China Sinoma International Engineering and Sinoma Science &Technology Co Ltd are two subsidiaries of Sinoma. Published under Cement News
