Cementos El Monte to be absorbed by Cimpor company
Integrated Spanish cement manufacturer Sdad. de Cementos y Materiales de Construcción de Andalucía, part of the Cimpor group, is the process of absorbing of Cementos El Monte.
Cementos El Monte has a grinding plant in Palos de la Frontera (Huelva), which was idled about 16 months due to the slowdown in the Spanish ceemnt market over the last two years.
The company’s sales declined from EUR27.15m in 2008 to EUR4.07m registered in 2009. Published under Cement News
