PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Friday reported a 40% increase in its net profit for the first half of the year to IDR1.64trn (US$182m) from IDR1.17trn a year earlier.
The cement company said its net revenue rose to IDR5.36trn from IDR4.80trn a year earlier, yielding a 24% increase in gross profit to IDR2.77trn from a year earlier.
The company didn’t comment on its performance. But analysts said it benefited from increasing cement demand as construction activities here gained pace.
Indocement’s pre-tax earnings rose to IDR2.16trn from IDR1.63trn.
