Job losses at Boral, Australia
Boral, has announced it will cut 200 jobs nationally over the next six months.
The building and construction materials supplier employs almost 600 people at its offices in Greystanes.
The Greystanes House site has operations in cement, construction materials and functions like IT.
The job cuts were among the results of a review of Boral which Mr Selway undertook after he became chief executive earlier this year.
Boral will undergo a restructure that includes reducing from seven divisions to five. These will be: construction materials, cement, building products, US, construction related businesses.
Boral will also write-down US$289m in underperforming assets. Published under Cement News
