Dundee, Michigan, home to an administrative office of Holcim (US) Inc., was on the receiving end of a tornado that ripped through the town on June 6, 2010.  The tornado left some neighborhoods untouched and wreaked havoc in others.

Immediately following the tornado, more than 20 Holcim employees volunteered in clean up activities around town.  Many spent time at the local high school clearing the sports field of the debris from the bleachers and press box that had been destroyed, others removed tree branches from the local post office, and some helped local residents with the removal of debris from their yards.

"The response to those affected by the recent tornado in Dundee is an example of the generosity, commitment and compassion of Holcim employees," said Bernard Terver, President and Chief Executive Officer of Holcim (US) Inc.
