Belarusian banks are expected to extend 1.2 trillion Belarusian rubles’ worth of loans in 2011 for Belarus to continue modernising its cement plans jointly with China, Architecture and Construction Minister Alexander Seleznev said during a session of the Council of Ministers.

The session addressed Belarus’ cooperation with Chinese CITIC, which is supposed to design new cement-making facilities and supply equipment to Belarusian Cement Plant, Krichevtsementnoshifer, and Krasnoselskstroymaterialy.

“In a month or two we will prepare a resolution to set the sums to be provided by each bank,” the minister said.
