Honduras production falls by 33%
Cement production in Honduras has fallen by 33 per cent in Honduras due to the lack of government-funded projects, assured the president of the Cámara Hondureña e Industrias de la Construcción (Chico) [the Honduran Chamber of the Construction Industries], Alejandro Álvarez.
In April last year, 160,000 bags were produced and this year, the figure fell to 122,000.
