The Indian state of Orissa looks set to get two new cement manufacturing units as the state government’s State Level Single Window Clearance Authority on Thursday is likely to clear proposals.
 
Two cement majors, Madras Cement and Ajmer-based Shree Cement have shown interest in setting up cement units in the state. However, to date ASO, Grasim and OCL have signed MoUs with the state for a total production capacity of 4.9Mta.
