Segezha Packaging to close its Almería site, Spain

Segezha Packaging Group has announced to permanently stop production of paper sacks for industrial applications at its Spanish site in Almería. The Segezha Packaging S.A.U. conversion mill, which has three production lines with a total annual capacity of 100 million units, is slated to be closed in autumn this year. According to Segezha, the closure marks the complete withdrawal of the packaging company from the Spanish market. The closure stands to affect 61 employees.
