Iran produced over 47.44Mt of cement in the first 11 months of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 20 2009).
The volumes show a 17 per cent increase in comparison to the same period the previous year, the Mehr News Agency reported.
Some 62.84Mt of clinker was also produced in the same period – a 15 per cent YoY increase.
According to the data published by the Industries and Mines Ministry, some 4Mt of cement were produced in the Iranian month of Bahman (January 21-February 19), translating into a 23 per cent increase YoY. Published under Cement News
