Maglam Cement to set up 7.5MW wind turbines

Rajasthan-based Mangalam Cement Ltd gained on the Bombay Stock Exchange as the company has laid out plans for setting up six wind turbines with a total power generation capacity of 7.5 MW.
 
The company, engaged in cement making, has made provision of Rs.39 crore for the energy generation. The stocks of the company rose close to 1% to Rs.167 in the morning trades today. The made the announcement of new initiative before trading hours today, 8 March 2010.
